Fourth Regional Conference on Environmental Impact Assessment (HUSZPO) was held from September 18th - September 21st, 2019.

Numerous experiences were exchanged and discussions were held on various topics. The Conference consisted of three sections: Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental and Nature Protection Strategy and Sustainable and Inclusive Growth.

EKONERG’s experts actively participated in discussions and contributed to the conference by moderating its sections and holding three presentations:

2. Gabrijela Kovačić – Application of the best available techniques (BAT) for the environmental protection (Gabrijela Kovačić, Maja Jerman Vranić, Tamara Tarnik)
3. Matko Bišćan – Revitalization and rewilding projects – challenges of the future and opportunities for coexistence (Matko Bišćan, Berislav Marković, Perica Bušić, Marijana Kotaran Munda, Renata Vidaković Šutić)
4. Mirela Poljanac – Emission of fine particles (PM 2.5) from residential biomass combustion in Croatia and how to reduce it (Mirela Poljanac)
