Nevenko Hladki was born in Zagreb and graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, the course of Energy. He is a certified mechanical engineer. He has led a number of projects in the field of energy and in the nuclear field. As design engineer of boiler plants, he worked at the TPK EPO Steam Boiler Factory and at the Energy Institute as consultant in the field of nuclear power plant testing and the preparation and construction of thermal power plants. He participated in the preparation of the construction, as well as in the construction of large thermal power units in the Republic of Croatia (TPP Plomin 2, TE-TO Zagreb Unit K and Unit L, EL-TO Zagreb Unit L). He led the construction of a combined-cycle cogeneration gas power plant Pliva.

A project to point out among the most recent ones is the management of consulting services during the contracting of a new combined- cycle cogeneration unit in EL-TO Zagreb (Unit L, 150 MW). He has held a series of lectures at symposiums. He has published numerous professional papers and has participated in completing more than a hundred projects in the field of energy, process industry, refinery plants and high - pressure gas pipelines.
