Within the Department there are testing laboratories (for testing ambient air quality and emissions of pollutants in ambient air), a calibration laboratory for calibration of testing ambient air quality analysers and flue gas analyser and a proficiency testing laboratory (www.ekonerg-laboratorij.com). In cooperation with reputable manufacturers of measuring equipment (HORIBA GmbH, Austria, CHROMATOTEC/Airmotec, France, SVEN LECKEL GmbH, Germany, PALAS GmbH, Germany) EKONERG sets up automatic air quality monitoring stations.

    Calibration laboratory:
    Calibration and testing of technical features of ambient air quality analysers and of portable flue gas analysers (accredited according to HRN EN ISO / IEC 17025)

    Organization of proficiency testing of testing laboratories for ambient air quality measurement by interlaboratory comparisons (accredited according to HRN EN ISO / IEC 17043)

    Verification of accuracy and calibration of the system for continuous emission measurement of air pollutants (QAL2)
    Setting up stations for automatic air quality monitoring
